Carroll made quick work of the Midwest Conference Tournament, in route to the NCAA tournament where they will face Wittenberg University (Ohio).

Beating long time rival St. Norbert College was a big step for this program.  Despite the 4-1 score, Grinnell put up a good fight against the conference hosts, Carroll.

Any time the Green Knights do not advance to the tournament championship game, it is a disappointing season.  With second year head coach Andy Steger coaching the team, it will be interesting to see if they get better or worse.  I am guessing the latter.

If there was a consolation prize for showing up, Lawrence would get it.  As it stands, this team needs major rebuilding and are not much better than the worst few teams in conference.
