1 Carroll University
Congratulations to Carroll for rapping up its first Midwest Conference Championship in the program's 17 year history.  With a final win against the lowly Ripon Redhawks, they will enter the conference tournament with an undefeated conference record.
2 St. Norbert College
The Green Knights are going to be looking for revenge after their early season loss to Carroll.  This is shaping up to be a tremendous game if both teams make it past the first round of tournament play.

St. Norbert Press Release in Loss to Carroll

3 Grinnell College
Losing 3-0 to Carroll is not the end of the world.  They are still a good team and have a very real possibility of knocking off St. Norbert in the first round.
4 Lawrence University
With only two conference losses, Lawrence needs Grinnell to lose to take the number three spot in the conference.  In the event that this happens; their first round match would be St. Norbert.
5 Illinois College
It's been a tough year for IC but things appear to be looking up.  They have a new field and have put together some decent results against some of the average teams in the Midwest Conference.
6 Lake Forest College
It's been a bad couple of years for Lake Forest, look for them to have a much better campaign in 2009.
7 Beloit College
This team is much better than their one conference win would lead you to believe.  They have a quality midfield with an above average defense.  This team needs athletes above all else.  Gone are the days that you can win a college match with two forwards that couldn't run a 40 yard dash in under 5 seconds.
8 Knox College
Oh Knox, you will always be Knox, and you will always struggle.
9 Monmouth College
We would like to wish you well next year but much of the same will be expected.
10 Ripon College
No wins, and one decision.  In this conference, that is a major problem.
